Climavent has successfully designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke hazardous area fume extraction booth for a leading UK specialist manufacturing company.

The custom-built booth, engineered for maximum operator safety and compliance, features a robust GRP construction with non-slip floor grating and integral bund. Additional safety features include ATEX-certified lighting, stainless steel Zone 2 extraction fan, and ATEX door limit switches.

Designed to provide full containment and efficient removal of harmful fumes, the booth also incorporates sealed pipe cutouts, clear Perspex viewing windows, and a fully automated start/stop control system — ensuring the operator remains safely outside the hazardous area.
