Climavent has recently completed the manufacture and delivery of six high vacuum extraction units to BAE Systems at their Govan shipyard.

Each unit is fitted with a reverse jet filtration system, a high-pressure fan, and integrated electrical controls. Engineered for demanding industrial environments, these systems deliver reliable and efficient fume and dust extraction — enhancing air quality and safety across the shipbuilding facility.

The units are capable of supporting up to twenty-six simultaneous operators using 51mm diameter hoses for on-tool or localised extraction, ensuring flexibility and productivity during complex fabrication tasks.

The units were delivered complete with various hose connection valves to provide end users with a versatile and adaptable solution.

This latest delivery reinforces Climavent’s commitment to the UK’s shipbuilding sector, providing innovative, high-performance dust and fume extraction solutions.
